Terms & Conditions:
1: All furniture and accessories are for display use only & must not be used during the term of placement or removed from the property it has been installed in. If Style Bites have partially staged your property, the client may use it for day to day purposes however with extra care. The client indemnifies to any wear & tear (cost of dry cleaning) or damage caused to the furniture and accessories in consequence of a breach of this clause.
2: The period of hire the required furniture and accessories will be discussed on the consultation day and it will start from the placement day.
3: Once the client accepts the quote, Style Bites will schedule a day & time according to availability to stage the property. The client shall ensure that the property is accessible to Style Bites for the duration of service.
4: If Client or Real Estate Agent requires to change the placement date, please inform Style Bites 48 hours prior and we’ll work with you to find a suitable placement date for both the parties without any penalty fees.
5: Style Bites will use all the reasonable endeavours to present the property in the best possible manner to potential buyers but cannot guarantee the property will sell faster or at the highest market value. Style Bites is not responsible for the outcome of any sale of the property.
6: Style Bites does not accept liability for any loss, injury, cost or inconvenience sustained by any person using any information provided by Style Bites or accessing the property during the terms of this agreement & the client releases and indemnifies Style Bites in respect to same.
7: Style Bites will only install whilst the property is connected to power. Suitable light and electricity are required for our services.
8: Style Bites will not stage the properties where trades work is still in the process.
9: Style Bites request the client not to be there on the property on the day of installation & removal. However, if the client wishes to be onsite, we kindly ask you to be out of the way during the furniture moving.
10: As this is the display furniture, it must not be used at any stage of the hire period for personal use. Any breakages or damage resulting from the client’s failure to comply, the client will be responsible to pay the replacement cost or cost to fix the item/s or cleaning costs.
11: To Secure the install date 50% deposit would be required on the day upon signing a service agreement. Full payment to be made 24 hours before the scheduled installation day. Failure to make the payment would result in the installation date being pushed back.
12: If the property is sold before the hire period, there will be NO refunds of the remaining time.
13: It is the Client’s responsibility to make the property accessible for pick up within 5 days of the sale. If the client fails to arrange the pickup time with Style Bites, an invoice will be issued with 15% surcharge of the rental for each week of the delay.
14: Whilst Style Bites uses extra care in providing its services, the client releases and indemnifies Style Bites in respect to any loss, damage, liability, cost or demand which may arise in respect to any of the following.
Certain items of furniture and accessories used by Style Bites in staging the property will be heavy which may leave impressions, compressions or marks on the floors/walls. Whilst Style Bites will use all the endeavors to limit the same, the client acknowledges that some impressions or marks are unavoidable.
Damage caused to the furniture and accessories during open homes or inspections by potential purchasers. Style Bites recommend careful supervision around the property.
Pet damage is not covered by our insurance and will be billed directly to the client.
15: Style Bites will install picture hooks where the artwork is required to hang on the wall. They will remain in the same place after pickup. Any damages to the wall due to unfit surfaces, substandard plasterworks, property history or poor foundations are not the responsibilities of Style Bites.
16: This agreement may be terminated without notice by Style Bites in the following events.
– If the deposit is not paid on time, the agreement will be canceled.
– If the client behaves disrespectfully to any of our staff or 3rd party suppliers & movers.
17: If the client changes his/her mind or would like to cancel the project before the staging, the agreement will be voided. The cancellation fee would be $300, which will be deducted from the deposit paid. The remaining deposit amount will be refunded in the nominated account.
18: If the client changes his/her mind after the staging is done on the property &
– would like to replace any furniture pieces or accessories, the replacing cost would apply from $500. After the client accepts the replacement charges, Style Bites team will schedule a day for the job.
– Once the installation is done, there won’t be any refunds made available in any case.
19: The client allows Style Bites to photograph stages areas of the property before and after the services are completed & to use such photographs for marketing purposes, both printed and online. Style Bites owns all right, title and interest (including without limitation of copyright) in all such photography. Anyone wishing to copy the detail for commercial purposes must obtain prior written consent.
20: Style Bites reserves the right in its absolute discretion and for any reason whatsoever to terminate this contract within 10 days of the date of this contract by written notice to the customer.
21: Any dispute or differences between the client and Style Bites need to notify one party to another, shall meet to negotiate in good faith to resolve the dispute. If negotiation fails to achieve a resolution within 5 working days of the notification of the issue, attend mediation, administered in accordance with the procedures as set out by the Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators Australia.
